Corthay seems to have made their reputation from eggplant colour shoes.
But once you got it, you will never go back!
The JL, EG, Crispin, Scheer, Materna should follow suit and sell purple colour shoes.

I see SC has a purple croc number but the other 2 are probably too traditional to do purple shoes.
Georg has a lovely stingray number that looks brownish, but which can look purplish.

I picked up these Vass which seem to be quite a cheap alternative to the Arca. Not sure what model name they are but I'd be interested in seeing them in Brown / Ox-Blood:
