Here is a little photo-story form Januszkiewicz atelier. He, and famous Kielman are considered two best cobblers in town. I just received my first pair made by him. and finally- my shoes:

That rack of lasts looks awesome!

What sort of prices does he charge? I'd consider making a trip if they're reasonable (assuming its only one fitting)!

I've paid 1800 PLN that is some 450 euros. Polish cobblers don't use fittings. At firs meeting they take measurements and discuss style. During second meeting you simply pick up finished shoes. Of course if anything goes wrong cobbler will make you a new pair. But I don't think it happens often with Januszkieiwcz. He has a lot of experience. He learned his trade during WWII and been a cobbler ever since.

The red pair on the first photo is great.

I had a relatively bad experience with such approach. Cobbler told me that he has 30+ years of experience and that my feet are simple for bespoke. So, the shoes were made without a fitting. When I received shoes one was almost one size too big and another one also had fitting problems. Cobbler had to remake shoes once again...

Cordwainer, not cobbler. A cobbler repairs. A cordwainer makes.
