The most compliments I get are on a beat up pair of AE park aves that I got for $50 shipped on B&S. No compliments for my EG, Alden or other AE that are in better shape.

Those Cheaney FS029 boots are beautiful indeed. If only I needed a new pair of boots...

Yes, they are beautiful... Could one possibly wear high boots in Los Angeles? It's always so damn warm here and it rarely rains.

As Racing Green said, his regular wingtips get the same attention. To the guys who own the Cheaney boots: When you get the compliments, your pants are covering the boot portion, so is it safe to say they are mainly complimenting the pebble grain wing tip aspect of the shoe, while the boot aspect may just be incidental? Wow, those multi-purpose Cheaney boots are a huge win for winter. I haven't worn boots in years, but this can be pulled off as "office wear", when the pant falls over the ankles. I can justify some serious cash outlay for something good.

It's called a chest. If you ever want a man's body, PM me. I can teach you everything in 1 email, provided you're not low IQ, and have an attention span of about 2 hours to absorb the supplemental reading. Actually, scratch that.

^The Cheaneys are 150 quid IIRC, which isn't a bad price at all.

I wear my ankle boots in 90 degree weather all the time, though I'm pretty much used to the climate where I'm living.

Can it be a coincidence when the same people get the same amount of shit [continuously] in response to their posts?

For instance:

Patrick, I am here to learn about clothing. Period. Look at the threads I've started. Who is hijacking whom? Have you noticed I never start anything? No. But, it's the same 3 or 4 trolls that continually hijack threads and impede any constructive discussion and education. pebble grain acecow (I give him credit for contributing to this one, however) Nice shoes. HPress "Hey, what are some distinctive shoes you guys have?" "He has high tits" Are you for real, you fucking loser? It sad one has to engage with these autistic dimwits to actually learn something here. If I could block them, trust me, I would have long ago. You have nothing to offer anyone except interference. You are a net negative. Get the fuck out of our way. FOAD. Really. I'm here trying to figure out shoes I'm going to buy today.. 1) We dress up to get noticed. 2) Shoes are the most noticeable aspect of your outfit. What better thread topic than "What is your most noticeable shoe?" Simple. Efficient. Leverage others' experiences. Task: Just post your best shoe. .... instead I'm typing out this nonsense. Another potentially informative thread totally derailed. Frankly, this entire forum has gone to shit in the year I've been here. Very few quality posters left.

Those Cheaney boots get me thinking about getting the brogue version: either the Herring Grassmere or the Rusland. The Grassmere appears to have a slicker last though.
