I like my hair to have that "slicked look" sometimes but I haven't been able to pinpoint the product that will give it a nice hold. Any recommendations?

I have a feeling this will not turn out as planned.

Murrays is the most widely available.

Otherwise....

Brylcreem is cheap and oldschool and works well. otherwise American Crew has a pomade that's also quite good. I hear palm oil is also good but haven't personally used it.

I phrased it wrong. Not straight back. I like it to have that slick look...i part it to the left and sometimes like to have that wet-all-day look.

Brylcreem (a little dab'll do ya) to make it look wet, murray's to make it look unmovable.

Brylcream and Murray's should be your go-to products to try out first. Brylcream is very buttery. Murray's is a very stiff petroleum product.

Another good product for the slick back is La Bella Pomade. It's been forever since I've seen it in a store. It's very waxy, gives a strong but soft hold, and is easy to wash out since it's not oil based.

Made a quick guide on how I use Murray's:

Layrite is also good. Holds well and no problems washing out

I use body shop coconut shine, I've been using it for more than 10 years, tried a lot of other stuff, it is the best for me, by far.
