I suspect many off us here, myself included, subscribe to this sartorial philosophy. I like well made clothing without the bling. Other than the obvious logo on my polo shirts, my other clothing items are practically logo-free.
Interesting article. MY two cents =I agree with alot of it, but essentially the consumer is just trading one kind of identification with another; a logo vs a signature style or integrated element.
I think its all pointing to a couple of things:
1. ) How to secure the shrinking attention span of a consumer already swamped with information and brand recognitions.
2.) And at the same time sell product to alot of people and have each one feel unique.
