Food alone I think it would have to be at Masa... that's the only real way to rack up serious cash... seafood products. Had caviar service at a place in Cannes that sky rocketed the bill. But all the super big bills (including Abromovich style ones) have been from wine. I've never been the one paying them, obviously. The most extravagant was a small gathering for my mother's best friend's birthday at Le Cirque and it must have been nearly 80k. Even if I had the means, I would never even think of spending that kind of money. The most expensive bill I've footed alone was at TFL, and it was because of Screaming Eagle. It was to thank someone for a massive professional courtesy that was worth every penny.

I paid the bar tab for my former roommate's bachelor party. That was a four figure evening.

They have a few very expensive options there.

Where'd ya go? Incidentally, my dinner at Publican cost me about $150 (I think), which isn't a whole lot, but it still makes me extremely fucking angry.

In terms least amount of food/price, in the past couple months, I think I spent $250 for 2 on Korean BBQ, it was only 3 very small servings of meat (like 6 oz/serve) and 2 bottled beers, and they have a girl cooking it for you on the habachi, and she cooks it all at once, so you feel like your meal only takes 6 minutes for the BBQ part of it. No tip. This is in relation to the fact that I can get something similar elsewhere here for like $16 for 2. Dinner with a bottle of wine here for 2 at any restaurant though, can cost $300 easily, and a bar tab of good drinks, cocktails and whiskey for 2, can be $3-400. It's not unlike Japan price-wise here, the taste of things is a completely different matter.

The Bristol. Food was pretty cheap. Like, 60 I think for three courses plus dessert. But the 4 glasses of wine and the bottle really jacked up the price, as wine always does.

I think during Charlie Sheens latest hooker/cocaine binge he dropped at least 12K at Daniel NYC, bought two bottles of 1959 Chateau Latour Grand Vin. (At least according to the NY POST). But being he makes over 2Mil an episode, I'm sure he can afford it.

Because the tip was more than I made in a day at the time.
