Easily two of the cities I had the most fun in. Both are affordable and less touristy then then the infamous "western" Europe.

OK ... less "touristy"? C'mon ... as to affordable, definitely. Fun? Indeed. But ever stop to think that uh somewhere never heard of North America may be less touristy than say oh, Toronto, San Fran and.or NYC also> (uh, like, the "never heard of"'s not exactly comparable to the "touristy" places?). Come on, folks ... just like Clarks is to EGs or Lobbs, ... same thing, different day; western EU is well western EU for a reason (like EGs and Lobbs are to uh Clarks or some unknown other brand, too ... there's a reason ... anywho, not to say, topic is affordable, but also best .. on that note, I repeat: Berlin. then, it's all relative, now isn't it. (and we've still to hear from the OP as to what that means ... otherwise, and yes, with the Euro being what it is, and certain nations being uh in the uh ... bargains are definitely to be had; this is most true! ... and all good, but let's not pretend theyre the same as western EU proper like London or Paris or Munich etc., eh? Coz they're not ... but doesn't mean other places while less touristy for a reason can't also be fun, even although in a different league entirely .. and why of course less tourists as not exactly the same, at all
