Make no mistake, this is not just about being friends. If her family likes you then she will like you more. A woman does NOT invite you to stay with her and her family just to be "friends". You are being auditioned. It doesn't change anything and it doesn't mean you suddenly will be dating. But if she was going to move in with you and the timing wasn't just right, etc... it is still a possibility, no matter what she says. What women say and what they mean are quite often two different things. (E.g. A woman will say "we are not going to have sex" even after you slide it into her).

Earrings are great. Slightly intimate and she can think of you...

Yeah I know she still wants to be with me, but she understands for the most part that we cannot be together. She probably has a deep wish that we get back together, but I think she knows it will not happen!

If you are the one that doesn't want to be with her - then you are a d-bag for free loading off her for three weeks and letting her think there is chance her deep wish will come true.

I have told her there is no chance we are getting back together and she has said "I know that" and has been insulted for me thinking she thinks she wants to get back together. We are just friends, and I have made this very explicit. She is one of my closest friends and I am the same to her. I don't think this makes me a d-bag. I am not leading her on at all and she will be a life-long friend of mine.
