FYI, I know you're looking for black, but I'm about to list a pair of dark brown ones. They're an 8.5, but they're longer than any 8.5 that I own and hence too big for me. The length, measured on the bottom, is 11.75". The inside of the shoe measures 10 5/8".

I know it isn't just what you're looking for, but thought you might like to know.
