I'd place Goodie MOB a little closer to Dead Prez. They have more than a couple of "socially conscious" lines that are embarrassingly ignorant and/or hateful.

There's no denying that he has a huge ego, but that doesn't necessarily have an effect on the quality of his music. He had a huge ego when 808s came out and that album was nothing to write home about.
