When you're driving one, you're having way too much fun to be concerned about looks.

Eh, the Cayman is better looking than the rest, plus it really is a pleasure to drive.

Rumor that the upcoming car to slot between the 911 and 918 will be mid-engined too - which I think might spell the beginning of the end of the rear engined car.

There is a factory LSD for the gen. 2 Caymans. The R comes with it by default, and it is an option for the regular ones. That said, it's apparently not very well built, and at least for the gen. 1 Caymans, many people did not believe an LSD was necessary.

Wait, you people don't think the 911 is a good looking car? It's one of the most beautiful cars ever built in my book.

The 911 is great, but I found the modern ones kind of soul-less. Would make for a great daily driver, though.

Yes, an outstanding daily, even in foul weather (with AWD and appropriate tires of course).

The modern version is ridiculously bloated looking. Maybe one from the 70s.

And better than a variety of Ferraris, Astons, some Lambos and various other exotica? Not even close.

But also less than 1/2 the price of a Ferrari, Aston, or Lambo.

Yes, and it is becoming what the 911 used to be: not inexpensive but not ridiculous and a true sports car.
