In addition, it looks like the jacket is a bit long. Shortening it slightly would lessen the focus on the problem area.

So the suit is going back to the seller. My tailor at Cardelino - who was at work sewing the buttons on one of my Zegna jackets by hand when I stopped by - didn't want to mess with it. He has earned himself a gold star in my mental ledger of alterations tailors. My right shoulder may be slightly lower, but the jacket was clearly either made for someone with a higher right shoulder, or was a reject. My guess is the former, as the 36" jacket waist and 31" trouser waist are a unusual. What a shame! I guess it's just more money for the bespoke kitty. I guess I'm 10% of the way there?

If anyone is interested, the seller has relisted this suit. If you are a 36R or 38R with a a lower left shoulder and a skinny waist, it may work for you. It really is a beautiful suit... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2600%26fvi%3D1
