Agreed on TF women's bags, but they're going to have to see where to place them/price points; TF's men's accessories are so ridiculously overpriced that they're nearly at Hermes level. $4000 for a canvas and leather tote? I don't think so...

Women's premium bags in the retail $1500-2500 range might work, but you can barely get a TF wallet for that. (haha j/k)

Well, yes - most couture lines, or top tier lines hemorrhage money annually. Its more marketing than anything else. Show a $50K dress 5 people in the world will drop dime on, or create an image that you can sell 1000 $5K dresses from a diffusion line to the "general" public. Womens fashion is all about selling dreams, and there is nobody better at this than TF.

You are right about the bags - theres no way he will duplicate his success with Gucci on TF branded bags, but niche bags, ultra baller status croc and swarovski, priced stratospherically like a mens calf leather wallet will be clamored upon all up and down the Madison Aves and Worth Aves of the world. Aint no way he is making a TF jacquard monogram bag work.

It's very glamourous, very Tom Ford. I like it. It'd be interesting to see the general RTW offerings.

But what happened to all of his muscles? I think it's only been a few months since he was last photographed, and at that time he was still his usual buff self.

And according to the NY Times, gowns could go for as much as $20,000, and suits will cost $3500 to $5000, pretty much in line with the label's mens' suiting:
