Manufactum's pieces are usually quite a bit different. A couple of years ago the all black cameraman they had, didn't use Harris Tweed, but another wool and it also fit completely different. I tried on various sizes but couldn't get any of them to fit like the size 50 I ended up buying elsewhere.

I'd be careful buying from them unless you've seen it in person and tried it on.
What the difference between the Mallory jacket and the Tenzing (Norgay)?
This is called Tenzing but looks like the Mallory. The collar strap seems different. But apart from that, it looks much the same.

Yes, I also got that impression. Kind of as if they got a special line made for them.
This Tenzing/Mallory looks quite nice though. The fabric is from the mill Mallalieu’s in Delph, England and is supposed to be of a heavy quality.
An obvious difference, that I just spotted, is, that it has four buttons, where the Mallory has just three.
I had seen the Camo Tenzing but not one in tweed, so I was a bit confused.
Thanks also for the heads up on the unusual fit.

Mallory actually has 4 buttons too but is structured as a 4 roll 3. The Tenzing above looks like a hard 4

I think that's correct. They definitely have special pieces made only for them. Haven't seen them anywhere else. The all black cameraman was really nice looking but just didn't fit right.

Anybody get that size 50 Beetham from UshowU? If so I'm just curious about a minor fit detail. You can PM me if you want.
The Yellow Cameraman is the one I'm wearing the most right now. I've decided it's my Autumn coat instead of a summer coat, firstly because it was too hot to wear in Summer, but mostly because it now fits right with a jumper underneath. I was slightly disappointed with the fit in the Summer (size 50) but it's all good now. Cabourn knows best.

I did the same, but with my Woolrich John Rich & Bros Chambray Parka. I'm waiting until Spring for my SS12 Cameramen where I'll probably be wearing one every day from March through May.

I would be all over one if they had an AW11 (or was it SS11) ad with the submarine.

Guys, no posting FS items outside of B&S. Just stick a link to your classified ad in your sig.

Does anybody have guesses/theories about when the items on marrkt will get reduced? I seem to remember them being dropped sometime with either 7 or 10 days left on the last sale so I'm hoping the same happens here. I've got my eye on a couple of things but I'm super tight on money at the moment so I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Finally got the Mallory Army Stripes I bought in the recent Marrkt sale. Very pleased with it! Very nicely made indeed.

Fit seems pretty ok as well? I took a chance and bought it in 50, the same as my Cameraman. I almost went for 52, as my Mallory waistcoat is in this size. Oddly, all 3 items fit the same, regardless of sizes. No wonder there is so much confusion about sizing.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing that Rifleman.

Took some pictures this morning. Pretty sure this is called the Rifleman but if anyone knows for sure please let me know. It might be a bit busy and have too many pockets for some but I love it and wear it all the time. It's pretty much my go to jacket. I got it in 2009, I think, and I wish he would do it again as mine is totally battered.

Cheers for posting this. Definitely a different looking Cabourn. Thought it'd look a bit more like this Barbour To Ki To piece I was looking at this Summer. I'd be surprised if he did it again, but you never know. At least you got one. Enjoy it.

Does someone has an idea where to get a Gedes in tan size 46 / 48 ?

No, but you might want to read the thread the past few pages. Consensus and measurements are that it runs big and so a 48 might be too big.
