Can't comment on these jackets but based on the Mister Freedom jacket I own (Mulholland Master) and the other stuff I've handled, it's high quality stuff and the fabrics are definitely stand outs. @zissou can probably say a bit more about MF as I understand he has or had quite a few items. However, if we're just saying that we don't like these jackets then I'm inclined to agree with you.

Yes probably a little too facetious but the detailing coupled with the bright nylon looking fabric colour shouts 'modern technical jacket' which I try to expunge

Really like it - the finish looks like neoprene - it looks like cotton bonded using some sort of rubberised solution on to Harris Tweed
The labelling suggests it was intended for the non Japanese market so can't understand why these weren't on the market until this sale

It is the size 44 which fits a treat

Not in love with mine, but the quality is superb.  Cotton almost looks like a shearling coat.  Great construction and the pockets are the same canvas used on the Hunting jacket.  Real heft to it as well.  Sadly one of the studs holding the clasp has nick on it so a small dot of the plating is missing.  That coupled with the ill fit (48 just wouldn't work) and I'll be selling it.

I'm sure you know this, but UshowU carried/carries it.

Thanks for the feedback. went ahead and ordered.... Very nice pricing lol...

Now am on the look out for a "Camo" piece that appeals, some of the past seasons are exceptional....

FWIW.....MF, The Real McCoys etc are very nice and well worth the money,

Enjoy.

Yes I saw the green one on UshowU's site a while ago
You can return it for a refund to Marrkt for whatever reason.

Yeah, I know.  It just costs about $50 to return it.  I think I'll try my luck on eBay.

I think you'll like the jersey Mallory - not his best piece, but a nice piece all the same and at the cost...

I'm in two minds about camo (probably my age). Really please with last years Compton though smile.gif

I meant to say this earlier but if anybody is thinking about buying a summer Mallory then you should seriously look at the Dark Indigo cotton canvas version from this season. For me, it's easily the best summer Mallory I've ever seen. There's a matching deck pant as well that is beautiful and I would've got if they had my size. I don't know why so many retailers have the denim versions as this version is so much nicer, pictures really aren't doing it any justice.

Which one do you mean?

This one http://www.corniche.org.uk/display1.php?Nigel%20Cabourn%20Jacket%20&id=1125. I was really impressed with it and I really loved the matching deck pant. Ian was saying that the Japanese deck pant was even nicer but they flew out the door. These ones must be selling quickly too as he didn't have my size unfortunately.

How much was this coat on the Marrkt sale?

Why is UshowU so expensive- considering it is last years piece?
How does this coat fit? I am a 50 in Winter Mallory and Spring Notch Camo and a 52 in the Winter Cameraman ( so as to fit a sweater underneath)

I just picked up a pair of the same deck pants in a slate blue covert twill that were probably from a couple years ago. They were made by ARN Mercantile, which I am guessing is no longer the case? I have a few pairs of ARN-made Cabourn trousers that are now a size too large for me that I'll gladly save for when I'm old and fat wink.gif

The Marrkt price was £245

UshowU has the green one at retail

I think a 50 or 52 would be fine
I would suggest the 50 as the fit seems to be a little generous but might be better getting the pit to pit measurement first

No luck with the business jacket this time either. This time I got the navy wool fox brother version. Quite sure it was the navy in much lighter form of wool I guess that was on display. Right size though...

Can't decide if I should keep my fox flannel business jacket. It will cost me around 34£ to send it back. I wonder how wearable it will be. I guess I never will find the lighter aw business jacket that I am looking for.
