Nigel Cabourn - Page 216

Is it just me, or are there no interesting summer trousers this past season?

Anyone have any previous season trousers (naval, linen, etc) in 32W in new condition that they don't want?
I'm also interested in ARN Mercantile trousers. Dropping 15lbs has forced me to come out of hibernation to find more trousers a size smaller. I better keep the ones I have in 34W in case I gain the weight back some day!

On a side note, it's kind of sad in a small way to have a full closet and not need anything like more wonderful Cabourn jackets.

Too many Cabourn jackets and too little time

Trousers at Corniche, Ushowu and the pair on the Cabourn website are quite interesting but yes agreed not as interesting or as wearable as last years workwear pants.

Couple of slim cut chinos at Flannels which are very uncabournesque but impeccably cut and simple being unlined

Fantastic - when you mention the Cabourn/ARN were they the drawstring Naval ones?

The ARN trousers were the Beat chinos. I've been needing some well made chinos to replace my RRLs that are now too big...

Have you see the new sportsman chinos from Mister Freedom?

I ordered a shirt from them a couple of weeks ago. Took a week for them to confirm shipping but it arrived a few days later in perfect condition. Would order from them again if the price was right (which it absolutely was last time).

I picked these up from VMC in Zurich a month ago and I love them, although you're right that I haven't been interested in any of the others.

I too ordered from them recently.  I got the Camo Notch Work Jacket.  Price was great, but I didn't get much communication.  I've communicated with them in the past and don't be surprised if you order the item and it's already been sold in their brick and mortar shop.  Also, my last order was when they had a ton of orders come through and I didn't get it for three weeks.  Still they fulfilled the order and with the discount I got they could have waited three months.  They also do deduct VAT, though IIRC you need a code.

For those who have ordered from Cabourn's store, did you get a shipping confirmation email or a just a confirmation that your order has been placed.  The inventory changed after my order, but I haven't receieved anything about it being shipped.

I ordered the Orange Sealed Aircraft Jacket on Wednesday and it arrived the day after but I received no indication that it had been shipped. I emailed them Friday morning as they say they need to contact you before you can return anything and I haven't heard anything back yet.
