Just looked at some online pics and it seems that they are all made this way.

(From http://www.styleforum.net/t/330732/pitti-uomo-83-streetwear-denim-edition-daily-roundup/15 )

I purchased this seasons Crazy Mallory (which I love).  Quite honestly the new one looks similar to this years (I do not know why you don't think so).  The elbow patch's are the exact same - the green ventile on the shoulder is the exact same - and the upper pocket tweed matches the tweed used in the back of the jacket.  Perhaps you do not like the light color of this years upper pocket/back panel as it is a bit lighter than this years.  Other than that, from what I can see, it looks the same.

This was my first year purchasing Cabourn (Crazy Mallory and Crazy Cameraman) however next year looks like it might be difficult.  It seems as though there is a lot of repetition year to year. Now that I already own a Mallory/Camerman I cannot see anything else fitting the bill (Tenzen showed before looks like a Mallory to me).

Any chance of a picture with you wearing it?

I'd want to see a better picture from the front.

This years (which I also have) has a very much more organic range of colours. The tweeds are all different, yet all fit together in a very nice way. The new one strikes me as a very much less compatible selection, from the rather basic navy main colour (which is really solid blue) to the light green herringbone. Maybe it will grow on me, but right now I'm not seeing it work as well as the AW12 version.

I agree. I don't dislike the new one but at first glance the colors don't mesh quite as cohesively as they did this year. The "crazy" thing is cool, but for my style the colors have to go together really well for it to work. Next years isn't bad, but just not quite as good as this years for my taste. Some people may like it better though as I think the "craziness" will be less subtle.

Been loving my crazy Mallory so far, such a nice jacket.

Tweeted Drew at Nigel Cabourns and got two photos back immediately! Looks like we get two variants of the Crazy Mallory for AW13, navy and camo:

My initial comments still stand...

I am not a huge fan of crazy Mallory but the navy one is kinda cool :)

Different strokes...I think the navy looks even worse there, but the lighting looks weird too...I'll reserve final judgement for when shops start putting up some good pics. Camo is nice...except for the camo part...colors remind me of this seasons.

Yes the camo ventile would put me off. I'd like the navy if the breast pocket isn't too bright/light. Based on what I've seen I think I'm glad I got this years.

Does anyone find themself with Cabourn trousers that are too large? After being a bit keen in the sales, I have 2 pairs of Cabourn (4 pleat in khaki and naval pants in... navy), plus a wonderful pair of ARN new beat chinos in herringbone. All size 34, all too small for my normally 34 body. Unable to return, but it would be cool if someone had overestimated their girth and might like to trade.

I'm really really hoping Superdenim are right about the Bombay pants being on the large side so the 34 is properly large.

How hard is it to actually make clothes that are properly sized?
