Cheers for posting this.  Definitely a different looking Cabourn.  Thought it'd look a bit more like this Barbour To Ki To piece I was looking at this Summer.  I'd be surprised if he did it again, but you never know.  At least you got one.  Enjoy it.

 

 

No, but you might want to read the thread the past few pages.  Consensus and measurements are that it runs big and so a 48 might be too big.

I bought the Skyliner in 48 last year. It should not be any smaller. Usually I go for the 48 but in the big stripe

oxford I have 50 - in the slow vintage hoodie as well.

 

So I am not sure about 46/48. A bit larger 48 would be okay but not too much ;) Anyway I have to see where

to get one. The Skyliner is a bit short so the Geddes would be better.

Well done Nick, wonderful jacket, I wish I had been fast enough to catch one to in 50/52 to match my vest.

Well my King George coats arrived from xiaogwuay blow out sale and have to say I am very pleased. Had a 50 but the fit was just too loose but the 48 fits like a glove. I am almost tempted by green mallory pants thats still for sale but lack of funds does not allow.

the king george is it. my 48 feels like it was tailored to fit me.

How effective do you think is the Geddes jacket for really low temperatures?

And what do you think of the cotton outer shell?

And how do you like the viscose lining? Is it quite breathable?

The design is definitely very nice.

Very effective. US Pilots were buying these out of their own money as they were warmer than standard issue. The pilots wore these when flying across the Arctic. Overall a very warm coat.

I managed to find the Cricket Club ventile jacket - old Harrods advert but I am not sure on the year but I would say between 1983 and 1988. 

 

 

does anyone know if the NC X Merz B. Schawen stuff fits TTS?

I am normally at 50 in Cabourn - shirts, jumpers and jackets. 

 

I have two pieces the orange top in a 48 http://www.terracegent.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/nigel-cabourn-top-ymc-tee-shirt.html and the fit is perfect for me. 

 

The grandad top I have is in a 50 and it is a a bit too big http://www.terracegent.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/nigel-cabourn-x-merz-b-schwanen-from.html - I can get away with it but the 48 would of been better for me.

Does anyone have a pair of the 'SELVEDGE GAB PATCH POCKET TROUSERS'? I am trying to find the measurements for these trousers. The only online info I was able to find was from Oki-Ni, however, the measurements they have are definitely incorrect. Any help would be appreciated.

The measurement which I need the most is the inseam. I picked up a size 34 and, unfortunately, the length is much shorter than I expected. The seller made no mention of any alterations.Can anyone confirm if these are much shorter than most Cabourn trousers?

I measure these at 29" inseam. All my other Cabourn trousers have been approx. 34" inseam.

I'm regretting now not picking up one of the check bow ties in the recent Marrkt sales. Anyone have one they would consider parting with?

To answer mcqueen's question, I have a brown pair and a green pair of the 'SELVEDGE GAB PATCH POCKET TROUSERS' and they are both 34" inside seem. They do have a lower crotch than most trousers, so I would say they are in reality 36", but that's beside the point. Sound like yours have been altered.

Yes McQueen they should be a 34 inseam. If they are the pair that was on ebay last week looks like I dodged a bullet.
