^Thanks kind sir

Am looking at the Nigel Cabourn Eddie Bauer Geddes US Clip Coat- Tan. I am a 40" normally so should I go for the 48, 50 or 52 in this? Anyone have experience with this jacket as to how it fits? I won't be wearing anything too chunky underneath and want it to fit well but not too snug.

Cannot believe I missed out on Yellow Cameraman for 229 pounds after the VAT refund!!!! Anyone get one?

When did this sale actually go LIVE?

Managed to grab a Mallory Harris Tweed jacket in size 50, though was totally torn on which size to get (I have a Cameraman in 50 and a Tweed waistcoat in 52, both fit perfectly), and also there is a mismatch between photos and description between the two Mallory jackets. I want the one with the patches and ordered the right one going by the photos. I did email Marrkt earlier informing them of the error, but haven't heard anything. Fingers crossed!

Am trying to get the Geddes in 50 (didni't want to risk waiting for an answer to my question above) but have been on the checkout page for about 15 min. I guess there a couple of others trying to buy at the moment. If the sale comes off and the 50 doesn't fit, it'll be on the B&S forum in a couple of days.

Apparently a few of the items that was on the site before it went live officially weren't supposed to be there at all. The shirt I ordered was one of those items so got a refund.

Jonnyt - You should go for 48 in the Geddes
post #1958 of 4851

anyone know the measurements on a 48 beetham?

Hmm I went for a Geddes in Moss colour version, I really couldn't make up my mind- all 3 colour versions are nice. Any thoughts on that guys? Which one would you pick if you were to settle for just one?

Well, guys, I think we did a pretty good job of clearing Marrkt out of most of the good stuff in under 3 hours...

Pretty much only the odd sizes of the not so cool stuff left now.

I got the same email about the down vest I purchased. It was the only piece I was really vying for, so needless to say, I'm bummed.

Anyone catch what size was available, assuming they had a size listed?

Cheers but I kopped the 50. I stopped at a shop on the way home and tried on a different Bauer Cabourn parka in 50 and it fit perfectly so I'm hopeful about the one I got.

The yellow cameraman I think it was a 52, don't know why I checked I already have one.

Edit
They had measurements for a 52 I think but not sure if one was for sale.

Hmm I went for size 48 of Geddes - I think it is oversized, 23" chest is quite roomy even for layering if you are 40". Oh and Eddie Bauer line is inconsistent with sizing- I have a Skyliner size 52 and the chest area is far from roomy..
