I got to the sale this time. Disappointed about the Harris Tweed trousers not having my size. Did manage to pick up another jacket.

Found a white oxford in size 54 for £40 so decided to take a chance and see if it fits me. Also picked up two cable knit hats from Highland 2000. Starting to get cold so could be useful.

Which one?

Who got what so far?

Hi,

it would be great to get some info on sizing.

Last year I got the Fair Isle Sweater in 52 and it fits pretty tightly, but still ok.

Now for example when I look at the Nigel Cabourn Waxed Cameraman Jacket- Tan it says that for 48 the chest measurement is 44 which would actually be fine for me.

Do the sizes between different items vary so much or is this the cut, i.e. the 48 would be too short in the sleeves and body for me?

And one more question for the tweed cameraman jacket it says " with waterproof Mackintosh upper". Isn't the cameraman Ventile like in many of the other jackets? If not, what material is Mackintosh? With NC I cannot imagine it to be manmade material.

Yeah, they deduct vat. The shirt I picked up was £48, but got it for £40 after vat was deducted.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum.

I have just picked up a tan cameraman which I have been looking at for a while which i'm really happy about.

There is a size 46 red 4 way roll neck on the site, I currently have a 48 which is a little too big.

This probably seems really tenuous but if anyone gets the 46 and finds it too small I would be happy to swap for my 48.

laters.

Am interested in sizing info also. Will be looking to get a jacket when the sale opens in an hour or two and am a 40" to 41" suit jacket size. If I can get a parka or winter coat, should I go for 50 or 52?

Can anybody chime in on what a 44 would fit? I heard its urber big, Would a 48 fit a size 37-38 chest without it looking too relaxed and big
post #1947 of 4738
44 is extra small. Take 10 off each size for approx chest size.

I am 36 chest and have 44 cameraman which fits snugly, the 46 is a better fit.

If you are 37 chest then go for 46 or 48 cabourn size. Be aware the arms will probably
Be too long and need altering unless you are very tall or have monkey arms.

Was talking about the 4 way turtle neck. I'm a 46 in cameraman and 48 in mallory.

Ok then, well I am a 46 in cameraman and the 48 roll neck is pretty big.

I would say a 44 would probably fit fine for a tight fit or a 46 4 way for a normal or slightly baggy fit.
The 48 is very baggy / oversized on me.
