Nigel Cabourn - Page 111

A "meh" from me.  Some stuff I missed out on in the past since I simply didn't know Cabourn, but nothing I like.  That angler bag is the most interesting to me.  The rest of it was simply cheaper on Superdenim's regular retail site with VAT taken off and discount code.

Now the Barney's sale...  Can't believe they had the best prices of the season.

IRBE, just saw your post.  The peacoat is a pretty heavyweight drill.  A heavier cotton/canvas feel and weight (by weight I mean a bit heavy).  It's fitted in the chest but imho rather boxy below.  I didn't like how boxy it was.  If you don't mind that though I'd grab it at that price.  Cabourn aside, at that price it's worth the money so long as you don't mind the fit.

^ Guessing a SMALL would be a 48? Going to see if I can find measurements anywhere.

Yeah, I think so.  It was in the Cameraman when I got it from them.

I was told by the folks at Inventory that Cabourn's 48 is medium. I've seen it documented both with 48 as medium, and as small.

Yes, me too.  I think it's 48 as medium if you're in the UK or EU and 48 as small in the US.  Like I said a few posts up the thread, based on when I ordered from Barney's earlier in the season the 48 was a small and the 52 a large.

not sure if this of any interest to you guys, but the barneys warehouse sale has the Surface jacket for crazy cheap

does anyone here have one of these? is the material very thin? (wondering if it'll suffice as a fall layering piece)

Amazing price. It's just waxed cotton with some lining around the shoulder area (no warmth) and it's definitely a shell piece to layer on other things. I had to rewax some seams on mine, but it's otherwise performed great in Pacific Northwest weather.

selling my cameraman in size 46
anyone know where i can still get the crazy mallory in a 46?
Coggles have a small but its a 48. Endclothing had a 46 but sold out, some retailers are still stocking so maybe wait a while. You could always email end and ask if they will restock for you or email cabourn enquiries@nigel-cabourn.co.uk. End is also a uk based site so maybe no good if you are in the US.
