Another question to those who own Cameramans - how easy would it be to take in the waist line by a tailor?

Thanks Guys! Unfortunately the 48 is sold out everywhere so not sure when I'll be able to get my hands on one!
@Prurient Thanks for the pictures! How are your arms? I have longer arms so do you think the 48 could be a problem?

You certainly won't want a 52" - I wouldn't have thought you'd swim in a 50" though.

For reference I'm a 42" 36", 6ft 1" -weight too much and take a 52:

Thanks Manofkent - I'm actually starting to lean towards a 50 because of my big frame.

Is it me or does EVERYONE Have the Beige Top / Gray Bottom Version? No one is into the Tan or Navy with the Houndstooth bottoms from this year?

One thing I noticed is also the one you guys have Mackitosh Tops while this season's w/ the Houndstooth has the Waxed Cotton Tops. Anyone know the reason? I've had Waxed Cotton jackets in the past and I'm not a big fan of how they age in the long run.

I have the blue and houndstooth. It may look navy on the screen but it really is a couple of shades lighter. I have to disagree about your statement regarding waxed cotton jackets. I'm not sure how you treat your clothes, but mine have aged beautifully over the years. The patina and the personal signature that they develop, is part of the fun of wearing them.

Cabourn 50% off at Context now. If you guys don't buy the navy Mallorys at <$500, I will disown you all.

Haha, well it is taking all of my willpower not to as I just received the Nanamica duffle. It's great and I'll be keeping it. Two $700 coats in one week is too much, I think.

I've been lusting after the Beetham for a while, but I just can't get past all of those metal clasps, which are painted grey, not black :\ If it was buttoned or toggled, I'd be all over it. I thought about replacing the clasps, but they're riveted to the coat. Must resist....

What is the fit on the Mallorys for someone like me?

My Measurements Are:
Height: 6 ft / 1.82 m
Weight: 175 lbs / 79 kg
Waist: 32
Shoulder: I typically wear European Sizes at a L or a 52. But only because they have a small waist. I usually would wear Normal American M or 40 since their waist are bigger around the waist.
Arms: Long - typically shoulder to sleeves at 22"
Vests: I wear S or M Vest because of my small torso
Build: Slim

Can't really tell unless you give us your actual chest measurement.

I'm on the road for the next week or so - won't have access to my measurements as I left them all at home. Looks like I missed out on the Mallorys at Context anyways... BOO!

Just came back from Hong Kong and scored a Navy-Linen Malory and a Dark Gray Sports-Jacket (3 Button, Not Sure what Model) both from the Japan line which has a MUCH Better Fit and Quality (I think) on Sale! YES! Scored!

Nice pickups! The quality is no different between the Main Line and Authentic Line. The difference between the two is simply because some items are better produced in the UK, and others are better produced in JP. The UK-made Authentic Line is impeccable.
