Finally got to wear the linen Mallory and am trying to fully embrace the looser fit of Cabourn (with linen denim Naval trousers from SS11)

I forgot to mention, the sizing seems to differ from UK sizing to US sizing. I got the Woolrich John Rich & Bros Chambray Parka and it's a US size Medium while it's a European size Large. I contacted a UK retailer and they said their sizing on their website was the same as the European sizing, so the UK Medium is still a US Large. That's with that piece of course. I tried a Burberry Parka and I was a Medium and it fit near perfectly while the PS Paul Smith Parka in the equivalent size was too snug.

Anyway, sorry guys. I'll shut up about the sizing until I decide on which one and get it. biggrin.gif

Very nice Zissou! msaint.gif
Do you find the linen Mallory's sizing very different from the H. Tweed Mallory?
Thank you, sir. The linen Mallory is barely a little shorter in the sleeves, but otherwise very similar.

The Mallory is hands down my favourite piece, I probably wear mine more than any other item I own. I'd love to track one down in black as this image, shame they're long gone.

Thank you Zissou I was hoping the linen version would be a shorter in overall length.

As Turunen, the Malory is by far my favorite garment at NC. I wear my 3 Harris Tweed Mallory all fall/spring and most of the winter! clooney16.gif
I just need to find the matching windowpane vests to go with my jackets in 52 or 54...

Darned! I even love this version:

Thinking about selling this. I love it, but I bought it impulsively and just don't know that it fits with the rest of my LA wardrobe.

Anybody have this one or has anyone tried it on?  Sounds very room, but I figure it's probably still true to size in the shoulders.

Mordecai, I might be interested in this if you decide to sell. Let me know!

Love this piece. Have to find one for this upcoming winter. Hoping ushowu still has a health stock in mallory, hoping they will mark them down
post #1451 of 4471
Ushowu's prices are usually very high. Wouldn't it be better to order from a UK shop?
Yeah but that is only store I know right now that currently has it in stock. But I'm sure they will keep it regular price and roll it into their FW. I will have to go hunting during sale season.
Ah, I see. Yeah, ushowu seems to hold onto its stock for a long time. If you are 54(44), yoox has the navy version at a good price. I almost bought the 50, but I already have two Mallorys!

Just noticed that Blue in Green has been carrying Cabourn this season, and is on sale: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&manufacturer_id=56&Itemid=62

Yep - drove up Green yesterday and the yellow Cameraman was in the window. I thought the same thing - when did they start selling Cabourn...
