How to search thru YOOX

I have tried to search on YOOX and cant seem to find products that I know are on there website. I have seen links to various designers that show a product being sold on yoox....but when I go directly to the URL I cant manipulate the website to find the product. Whats the deal with this.....

Well what I'm saying is I have tried to search for Lanvin sneakers by picking the designer and I didnt get any results.....yet I have recently seen a link that displayed Lanvin sneakers on Yoox.com.....Whats up with that....

not sure. just make sure you aren't searching multiple criteria that wouldn't exist in their database. like designer & something they don't make.

Now now. Why don't you sort this out in the playground?

OP - try a google site search on Yoox; also, sometimes you seem to get items by putting the designer in the search field, rather than clicking the designer box.

There are definitely issues with the Yoox categorization system, and you sometimes need to search for things using a different number of pathways. There could be any number of reasons for this, from incorrect database entries for individual items to issues with the search algorithms themselves.

trying to be a bit serious.... for the OP: if you read carefully the Official Sales Alert thread, you will see that the link with the Margiela and Lanvin sneakers is a preview sale link for the 'happy few' Yoox good customers :-) that's why they are not available yet by browsing the site. I still have in my dreambox some articles from the summer collection which are not available through normal browsing either. Searching with Google you will find secret or sold out items. Don't expect to get easily all the Yoox tricks...
