Thoughts?

I, for one, agree with his theory. The longer you go without food, the more energy your brain can devote to productivity. Sometimes we forget that we don't have to constantly stuff our face three times a day to survive. Anecdotally, I find the mind during periods of fasting is much sharper than postprandial.

I never eat breakfast. I don't get hungry until lunchtime.

That might have something to do with the amount of alcohol I drink each night before bed, but I don't know for sure.

I carb load most nights with lots of alcohol so I don't have to worry about breakfast.

I am a late riser: so, breakfast is overrated. But by 10:30 I get real hungry, and get a big brunch/lunch...my biggest meal of the day

Just look into intermittent fasting. It's exactly that.

And what if I'm most creative in the afternoon?

I never eat breakfast because I generally feel physically ill if I try to eat immediately after waking up and don't have the discipline/desire to wake up two hours before I need to leave the house every morning so I can eat without feeling bad. I just drink a glass of juice in the morning.

I probably feel best eating a light dinner and a high protein breakfast, but its not the most convenient.

People who skip breakfast are more often overweight. They tend to overeat later.

Most people aren't hungry in the morning because they pig out before they go to sleep.

THIS is the reason more people who don't eat breakfast are overweight. My 2c

nothing wrong with eating breakfast, nothing wrong with fasting through normal breakfast hours too. it really depends on the person and their diet setup. I, for example, am currently not eating breakfast on my current diet. I like both methods for their own perks. however, I will say that not eating breakfast makes me more clearheaded and energetic during the daytime.

I'm a light warm breakfast, light cold lunch, heavy warm dinner person. I get drowsy after warm meals that are more than a handful in size.
