i suggest you get your aldens a half-size smaller if they are made on the barrie last (which they are if they are boots). funny, in nike, i wear a 9.5 also, but in alden's, i wear a 8.5. i have a suggestion, trace an outline of your foot and send it in to alden of carmel. they should be able to figure out the proper fit for you based on your outline.

Thanks for the advice miz, I wear a snug 9.5 but they stretch in width nice. I think I'll trace my foot though that seems like the best way. The boots won't be available till late summer early fall but I want to get my order in now.

I picked up the AF65 two tone (brown and black) saddle shoes from Alden of Carmel as a Christmas gift to myself. I am amazed by the construction and quality. These are picking up rotation with my Indy's and Frye Brando (lace).

I've been searching for something in this style for a while now and these are perfect. A tad pricey but what are you going to do?

awesome.

i couldn't wait for the black wingtip cordo boot, so i pulled the trigger on a medallion toe boot. but, i'm pretty pleased nonetheless.

black shell cordovan is great, man. the lack of small creases really is awesome. it's hard to go back to calfskin after you've tried on the shell cordo.
