Battle of the Longwings: Alden vs. Florsheim Limited vs. Allen Edmonds

The Veblen's very interesting. At that price-point it will be hard to pass up, but I wonder how the leather wears over time.

In that last picture of the Veblens, if you said those were $40 Rockports, people would make note of the cheap looking corrected grain leather. I love stacked wooden heels, but it may be a bit much going all the way around. I suppose that's why Veblen is a brilliant name for a luxury shoe, by the way.

The Florsheim looks like garbage. If the forum can't tell that, there's no hope.

They aren't wooden. There's no such thing.

+1. I hate when people say that; however, some dutch clogs are wooden.

The shape, the finishing, the leather: all garbage.
