Low-Price, Stylish/fashioble dress Shoe

Thread Starter
Sorry for putting the words stylish and fashionable together. At least I spelled fashionable wrong.

I want something 200 dollars or under (this might require the web or markdowns) that is pretty stylish but well-made. I find AE/Alden etc. quite nice, but a bit stuffy for my taste. I want something of that quality that has a bit more personality. A little more unique, perhaps. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Have you tried Herring Shoes, I have bought several great Loake "seconds".

Edmond - What's the fit like on your Loakes? I'm sure there's a thread around here somewhere, but since it seems you own a few...

I typically wear a 10.5 or, more rarely, 11 medium in US sizes. Size 10 medium in C.T. shoes fits me well (recently tried on their brown suede full brogue), and believe last year's C.T. were Loake re-brands.

Thanks.

If 10 in CT, 10 in Loakes as well. I hover between 8 and 8.5 and sized down to a snug 7.5.

You can also look at Bexley goodyear welted french shoes. Kind of tough to order sight unseen though.
