Hey Styleforum, As you can tell I could use a haircut. I'm here though because I could use some advice on my hairstyle, or better lack there of and I don't really know who to turn to for advice. I always go to your oldschool barbershops and they're not too keen on giving advice for anything that doesn't deviate from your regular cut. I've gotten pretty bored with the #2 fades I've been getting for the last seven years, so I want something new, preferably something "interesting". As long as it'll look good. I take it my best bet would be to try a salon type place, if so any good ones in the chicago land area that won't break my wallet? Suggestions? what would work for me? snipped-

Hi!
Your hair is your crown always, so it should be treated like hair and make you feel like royalty. The two most noticeable things about you would definitely be your hair and your face so you should definitely take these things in account when choosing your hair.
A good hairstylist is like a good friend with just the right advice for your hair. Many barbers and salons are up to date about the latest fashions. Yes, even traditional barbers know about hairstyle and they do not just automatically give barber's cuts to everybody.

I guess it could work, I'd probably want to shorten the emo bang. I'll keep it in mind. Any other suggestions?
