I was in Madrid this past summer, and the associates in the Madrid store both spoke English! Call Madrid!

As an FYI... One of the AAAC members stopped by one of the Carmina stores in Madrid and it did not seem like they were interested in shipping shoes overseas. Here is the thread if anyone interesred.

Wow, how disappointing? I was actually refering to the store on Gran Via. I do not recall the name of the gentleman who was watching the store, but he was overly kind and welcoming. I believe the gentleman was slightly more mature in years, which may have added to his affable nature. Are you located in Madrid permanently, or just visiting?

Just visiting. I'm in Madrid fairly often and make a stop at Carmina to keep appraised. They are fantastic to work with, but a few things strike me as odd on Gran Via: - They know nothing of available lasts (rain, etc) - whereas in Paris they seem to know more - I often hear of English speaking staff, but have never met this mythical creature. This is after some 50 or so visits (and 20 pairs over a number of years) - In recent years, I can never seem to get the style I desire in the cordovan color I want (!) - and often lack the patience to wait 3 months for a bespoke. I guess i'm getting older
