If you have the discipline and stamina to plow your way through both of these you will probably go far in life regardless of any philosophical benefits.

I've always considered these books poorly written, self-serving apologias for Ayn Rand's personal problems.

But if we're on the theme of books that make you a more successful (but probably worse) person, I guess this is pretty on point.

Ive red The Fountainhead in Arch school and enjoyed it; maybe becuase of the main character similarities to FLW, it was amusing.

Movie is good too.
