How does that look like anything but fun? Don't like it, don't go. Or remove stick from ass and go balls out down a hill on a big wheel.

Seriously, half the shit you mooks are whining about are either easily avoided or a problem in all big cities.
Gotta agree about the lack of effort in many cases though.

Actually, I have a whole train of thought on the matter but it's too much effort to write the whole damn thing out.

Lefty, have you made it out of the City yet? Parts north, East?

Went trout fishing on the Lower Sacramento through Redding last week. A good time was had by all.

If you ever move to Los Angeles, I think you should live at The Brewery.

Not sure if this is a short across the bow but that looks OK.

Actually I think I'd end up in your 'hood if I ever did. Beware!

Growing up fishing in MN and spending my formative fly fishing years in Montana...I was pretty skeptical of CA fishing...but after spending some time on various streams and rivers here in NorCal I have to say there are some pretty decent waters and fisheries to be had within a days drive of SF...

Most of it is a far cry from what it once was...and that is a shame...

Still is plenty of good water in NorCal: Upper and Lower Sac, McCloud, Pitt, Klamath, Rogue, Feather, Yuba.

God I've grown to despise those fools and their feeble attempts at co-opting/ tying themselves to the labor movement of yore.

word.

We've moved from workers striking to protest brutal working conditions and low pay, to workers striking to protest having to work, and bringing along a bunch of nitwit adolescent anarchists.

I was in San Francisco a couple of times last week. Each time it took me almost an hour to cross the Bay Bridge and get in to the city. Got to see construction workers knocking down enormous sections of the 101 though. That was cool, even though it was probably one of the reasons the drives in were so awful.
Also hung out in the Presidio, right by the bridge. That part of the park was nice, but on the way through I saw two groups of shaggy 20 somethings playing co-ed sports in gold glitter shorts. Couldn't get "Age of Aquarius" out of my head all night. Apologies to Matt if I unconsciously started humming it at dinner.

Trust me, when this country goes down and the food riots start SF will be the first city to burn.

I believe the city is already putting saltpeter in the single pour-over coffee at BB, 4B and RR, but a little leuprorelin may help as well.
