Henceforth I shall refer to NYC as 'NewYo'.

Glad you bring this up. Lately it seems like the only people in San Francisco are brunchers, people who think they are preparing to play in that day's football or baseball game, followers of Hard Gay and people pushing their quadruplets.

No, that is fine. Normal even for somebody who grew up around here. The problem is that all of these people are just caricatures of normal groups of people. People don't have kids, they have $7000 side by side strollers for them parked in the middle of the restaurant so the waiters can't move. Hipsters aren't just lame, they are lame, showing their tattoos, playing ironically with balloons and brunching.

So I go to Whole Foods tonight and as I park I notice the girl parked next to me has left the lights on her subaru. A girl half my age. She is walking away and I say, "excuse me, miss, you left yo--"

"I'm not your miss!"

That could also be considered a hard gay.

Correct response: "Maybe not but your fucking lights are still on"

Where were you when I needed you? I'm probably out of touch - what is the proper way to address a young lesbian in a WF parking lot in SanFo? Ms. seems, I don't know, too quaint.

I will say this. I'm going to miss those damn squawky parrots that gather outside my balcony every day.
