Just ask the person at the counter. It's SF, they should be used to it. I've had fairly decent luck in the city.

Why you hate San Francisco? Can you be more specific because I don't really get it. Well, if that's your opinion I respect it but as for me I love everything in SanFo.

I sat down for a coffee today in the presidio and some guy tooled past me on a penny farthing. That's why.

 

But thanks for giving me "SanFo".

I love San Francisco, but I understand frustration with the "you gotta be fucking kidding me" aspect of it. There's a reason the penny farthing fell into disuse. This town is filled with what my friend used to call Urban Attention Seekers.

Sometimes SF reminds me of Seinfeld's "two face" girlfriend.

I agree, it was a nice day. We walked over to the Goldworthy spire and I actually said to the leftette, "you know, this may be the nicest day I've spent in SanFo." Then the velocipedist rolled by.

So Ike's Place was cool sans all the hipster and naked men walking around.

I ended up a bit lost on foot while looking for Delores Park and ended up taking a tour of the Castro district by myself. I literally walked from Ike's Place back to Market Street, down Market Street all the way to Castro District, then circled back all the way to 18th Street after asking a cop until I ran into the park across from Mission High School.

That one place "Look Here" or w/e was kind of cool with the balcony and I can hear the wave of people shouting "LOOK AT THE NAKED GUY" who was standing right next to me while waiting for the stop light.

And for some reason it was super hot today compared to the last time I visited and I ended up way overdressed. Bummer.

My wife was reading this threak and said that Left gets a reprieve somewhat because Burning Man is going on right now. Not all the freaks, mind you, but a certain genre of ones whose absence might be of a small relief.

My friend saw one of those guys and said "that guy is really annoying." Then my friend's brother looked really upset, and said "J..., stop giving him attention, that's what he wants!"
