Borrelli Jeans?

--It doesn't seem Borrelli jeans as streetwear and I've yet to get a response there so......

I'm assuming the material is amazing and the jeans pegged (You either or that slim look).
Does anybody own any?
Material?
Cut?
Etc.
Your thoughts?

I saw them in the Borrelli boutique in San Francisco a while ago. The cut and wash (espectally the wash) were not amazing, and more in line with "sucked". I don't think the material is anything special, just some Italian denim if I recall correctly (non-selvage, not that that really matters). You can definitely do a lot better for the price Borrelli charges in terms of fabric, fit, and wash.

Got'em, love'em. The cut is more American in that there's actually a waist to speak of, unlike some other goofy Italian denims with shrunken waists I own. Button fly; workmanship as expected; comfort above average. Price on the steep side though, as they retailed in the high $400s.

All of the high-end Italian label jeans I've seen (Zegna, Borrelli, and Loro Piana) have had really really bad looking washes.

Co-sign on the caution-when-washn'. It appears as though the dyes they use are about as durable as a FIAT ( Fix It Again Tony ) cooling system

I have several pairs of Borrelli jeans and they fabric is almost as nice as Brioni and Kiton jeans. They are slim fitting in the legs. However, note that the jeans' cognoscenti do not consider Borrelli, Brioni or Kiton jeans to be "real" jeans.

I've got a pair that I picked up for about $80 at Filene's Basement. They're a great fit -- slimmer in the waist than Levi's, which I like. I wouldn't call them "slim-fit." I've seen quite a few pairs for sale on Ebay, mostly in the more colorful shades (light blue/red/burgundy/green, etc.).

Lance has a some Borrellis in non-traditional colors at VCH. Most seem to be 34W and 36W

Think along the lines of Levi's 505, but with a tad slimmer cut and less substantial fabric.
