A little Coconut water for hydration and sugar works fine for me.

Superpump MAX is the best pre-workout IMO for both energy and pump you feel. Jack3d creates a much more intense energy rush, but the pump you feel in your muscles just isn't there. For this reason, use of jack3d creates a high tolerance to stimulants and you end up needing to take 2 servings before each workout. Superpump MAX does not do that as fast. Gaspari Nutrition is also a very reputable company and the formula looks very complete. Must try. Pink lemonade tastes great too.

Get a big cereal bowl, pour two shots of espresso in there, put in one heaping scoop of rice, top off with a banana, and drizzle 3 tablespoons of scirachia sauce on top for extra kick.

if you drink some coffee but tell yourself its a super elite pre-workout booster i guarantee you'll get the same effects

edit for constructiveness:

i am willing to wager you have not perfected your exercise/diet/rest/recovery routine enough to warrant "needing" a pre-workout supp. this is a case of focusing on the 2% of the picture while the other 98% goes unseen, much like any other pre- or post-WO issue. guys like arnold, while gifted with insane genetics and other beneficial attributes, did not use jack3d or any of that crap and I guarantee you he would still eat you for breakfast. maybe he didnt work out after work like you do, but unless you're doing heavy physical labour all day, actually going in the gym and working out will provide you with an energy boost.

yea, they just ate d-bol by the pound.

invalid argument is invalid.

i agree with your overall argument, though.

Of course you are right that most people don't really need any supps beyond whey and maybe creatine and some caffeine.
+1 and maybe fish oil.
