In the last day:
-- My bosses wife went into a coma with complete liver failure. She won't make the weekend they say.
-- I left a friend at the local pub last night to go home. Within a half hour of seeing him, the EMT's were carting him out the door to the hospital where they pronounced him DOA.
-- My best friend in the world is on the liver transplant list was told that unless someone specifcally gives her a liver, she will not likely get a transplant.
All of this in addition to the other 5 friends and/or coworkers I have lost in the last year.
