How do I keep track of modem usage?

Dunno if this is the right place to ask, but apparently I'm using more than 75GB a month, which is my monthly limit with my ISP... but I don't know how I could be using that much? I use torrents, but there's no way I'm downloading or uploading that much.

Any programs I can use to keep track of this usage?

If your ISP sets a usage limit aren't they required to tell you how much you've been using at any time? Or at least provide you with a program to keep track.

Yeah, my ISP has a page I can check and it gives me the usage stats, but it's not very robust, and always a few days behind. I want something up-to-date and deeper, if such a thing exists.

Do you have a router? Flash to DD-WRT, it can track your real time data usage.

Yeah, I have a router, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "flash to DD-WRT."

didn't Limewire just get shut down? PS - maybe it's not what you're downloading, it's what everyone else is uploading from you? oh wow, I can't stop looking at that gif ^^^

I don't think anyone is stealing my internet though, my network is hidden and password protected. I have been downloading a lot of high-def videos and porn, so that's probably it. Thanks!

... wait. What? What exactly do you have against the best, safest, usually fastest, most reliable way to get stuff on the internet?
