Upon purchasing my Wayfarers from Sunglass Hut about ten years ago, I easily removed the "Ray Ban" lens logo with a Q-tip and nail polish remover (acetone) with no damage whatsoever.  However, are the lenses still made of the same material?  That I don't know.

Not sure why this was bumped after 3 years, but yeah the lenses should be the same. I'd use rubbing alcohol or some scotch tape even.

Just over three years ago I bought some Caravans (which were later stolen by the police), from which I removed the logo by scratching it off with the edge of a coin, and it worked perfectly. More recently, I bought myself a pair of tortoise shell New Wayfarers, and did the same coin trick with them, which once again worked perfectly. Both have glass lenses, and neither suffered any damage whatsoever.

glass polish and a polishing cloth.

If someone wanted a different method. The other way is with acetone, but use very little, put a little on a tip of cleaning cloth and rub the logo, it should come off in a few seconds.

But try this at your own risk, as we found out, when it makes contact with the plastic frame, it can affect it, like it's dissolving the paint off it.
