I like the hiarcut in this picture... what kind of haircut is it? and how do i do it myself?

lol its gonna be hard to do it yourself IMO. just take the pic with you next timeyou go for a haircut

i already cut my own hair... I just need some tips on how to get this haircut
is it layered? how long are the sides and most importantly, how do you do the bangs?

I have thinning shear scissors but how do I use them? how long should I cut the sides and back and top? What do i use to cut?

I don't think anyone on this board is a hair stylist for a living so I'm not sure you will get any help on how to cut it. Why don't you go to a salon and pay the money to have your hair cut like that and watch what they do and ask questions. Then start cutting it yourself like they did.

^^ This. Also for texture I know some stylists will use a straight razor to cut hair. That would probably be hard to do yourself though.
