Grooming in Paris

I've been shaving for years with a nice silver badger brush and a weighted Mach 3 razor, but am now thinking of shifting to safety razors. Any tips on where to buy these in Paris? I'm looking for a weighted razor, and have fairly large hands, so nothing dainty. I forgot to buy it when back in London, and am new to Paris. Am I correct that the actual blades are all a standard size, so that I won't need to worry about what brand of handle I get?
