Just getting some feedback on Borrelli suits. I have never had the pleasure of seeing one, and am thinking of bidding on an eBay auction. Does anyone have experience with them? What is your take. Do they compare with the Kiton and Attolini's of the World, or more towards the Canali's. I appreicate any feedback.

Kitons and Attolini's. I've only limited experience with their suits, but the handiwork I have seen was impeccable, of much, much higher quality than that found on typical Canali or Corneliani.

I'm wearing a pair of Borrelli slacks right now (bought on EBay). They appear to be just as handmade as Borrelli shirts. Very carefully put together. Ingenious method of buttoning in the front (it's hard to describe -- there's no button hole cut in fabric; instead, the button fits in a slot btw. two pieces of fabric. In any case, Borrelli dress shirts are (I think many will agree) are some of the best in the world. If they make their suits with the same care, with similarly high quality fabric, they should be exceptional. I've seen those Ebay auctions -- they look like good deals. I'd buy one if I could get one in my size (it looks like the Borrelli's run small from the listed measurements). I've bought three Barba shirts from that EBay seller -- good guy; very reliable.

Thanks for the comments guys. I am actually in Grand Rapids, which is good since there are not too many places to buy top quality goods this way. I will however look into Detroit area retailers. Are you in the Detroit area Hermes?
