Great news! Is the Stern available in both calf and suede?

I ordered mine yesterday morning and the order has not shipped yet.

This has turned out to be my wierdest purchase yet and a real emotional roller coaster. I've gone from elation at the prospect of having a $260 EG, to dissappointment when they turned out not to be EGs, to curiosity as to what they may be and would they be worth the $260, to elation again when they turned out to be EGs after all, to now anxiety over RL potentially not fulfilling the order, to still being curious as to what the heck do they actually look like while at the same time not being sure that what I've ordered is at all my size.

I hear ya!

I am constantly checking to see if it ships. I placed two orders last morning, and the first one (without the benefit of the 20% coupon) was canceled. I worry that this one might be too. Once it's in the mail, they are mine!

If anyone receives a pair of 7.5 US they don't want, please let me know

I ordered a pair on Sunday, got an error message on Monday, called on Tuesday and was told that the shoes were coming. If they are not EG I will probably return them or post them here. 10D, if anyone is interested.

Just called RL and they verified that the order has not yet shipped, but is packed and on its way to the truck. So it seems like RL is going to honor the order. All that remains now is the minor hurdle of the shoes having to be of a style and color I actually want and in my size. Otherwise, are there any 9.5Ds out there who didn't make it to the party?

When did they show it was cancelled, when you placed it or afterwards ?

I ordered yesterday. Mine still says "In stock," so i just called and asked what the deal was. B/c I choose standard ground CS said they would ship today... but I guess she looked at something on her computer that told her mine were "loaded on the truck" and that I should receive a shipping conf. soon. -- so have faith, if it says "in stock" it should probably go out today.

The first of my two orders was canceled. Aparently there was something wrong with the phone number I listed with my credit card. The second one slipped through the polo.com cracks, and was processed. I received notification that the first one was processed at 5:00pm EST, after they were sold out. My second order was placed around 10 am EST and looks good.

Style Stern is produced on the 89 and 808 lasts.
Yes, the leather is the same high quality,
but I believe the Mackays were made in Coffee
Suede whereas the Stern shoes were produced in Mink
Suede (a dark brown).
