I would think that a DOTA set in the SC2 universe would be more enticing, kind of bored of the fantasy setting for all the dota clones. I've played SOTIS but it just doesn't seem polished enough yet. I haven't played it for a while yet though...

even the friend system in LoL is much better than in SC2. the frequency of new heros, the way to report people who destroy or leave the game just outruns DotA of any platform.
