I think the collar height issue is separate from those of the points and how they sit on my chest. Mina spotted a few things on my Finamore she wanted to address (including some pulling across the chest), and these issues were already worked out on my first prova. I suspect that I'll end up maintaining a relatively tall collar while playing around with the angle of the spread.

I agree that the points need to be lengthened, but I think the collar height is quite nice as is. I'll caveat that with the statement that the new points shouldn't end up something ridiculous like 3.50" - 3.75". If they end up being that long, then yes, the collar height should be reduced. But I doubt they will be anywhere close to that.

Excellent.

My shirt collar from NSM looks like medtech's Finamore. I've been wearing my coat for a couple months now and it is starting to break in. Although it is kinda tight, I think the shoulder line is cleaner than what I get from Chan. I think the collar sits better too. I've asked my next jacket to be a little longer and wider.

Lots of questions and request for shirt pics, so here you go. I really feel that Mina nailed the collar - height, length and angle. The body - while trim - allows for sufficient movement, and I'm particularly pleased with the high armhole and shoulder treatment. Not a single machine stitch in evidence, and lovely thick MOP buttons to top it off. And have I previously mentioned that fabric is pre-washed??? No more shrinkage.

Note as well a modified trouser style for me, one that sits closer to the natural waist and is about 1-2cm more full throughout. I quite like the drape and will adopt this pattern for my suit trousers going forward.

Great collar, but looks a bit too tight in the chest?

Son-of-a-bitch that looks good. Wow.

Nice shirt. The chest is just fine. I would ask Mina to pull in some of the fabric from the right shoulder to take care of those creases.

Could we get a close-up of the fabric? Riva?

Medtech - how long are those collar points? I really like them.

Mina decided to redo the right sleeve as it came in about 1cm too short. Will be back in her shop sometime today so can do fabric closeup and get the collar point measurement. It's Riva.

Shirt looks nice, but the notch placement on the coat seems rather high. I guess it's a matter of personal taste or is it Mina's preferred style?

Not a big fan of the shirt but jacket and trousers wow

Thank you. I'm guessing the collar points are 3.25".

Here you go, boys. Collar points are actually 4 inches. ET - I saw one of your finished shirts. Your collar compared to mine pictured stands about 0.5 in. taller with points 0.75 in longer. update: when I returned today I found out that Mina is actually redoing the body as well. Apparently there was still some minor shrinking after the 3rd wash... I went ahead and picked out fabric for 5 more (white poplin, white oxford, light blue oxford, blue with white stripe, white with brown and blue microcheck similar to below pattern).

Sorry if that has already been answered but I scrolled through the entire thread and couldn't find information on pricing. What is the average price range for suits, sportcoats and shirts?

Thanks
