Mina can certainly do that suit. She insists upon flap pockets for suits
But, be sure to allow sufficient time with her travel schedule. Make it clear when you need it. My last suit needed a few extra adjustments and has taken longer than usual to receive.
IMO I would choose a navy fabric over grey for a wedding. It always seems to photograph better offering more contrast against a white wedding dress. I also think it will look more timeless years from now when you pull out your wedding pics. But, I'm sure there are some beautiful grey wedding suit fabric options. Especially if you stay on the darker charcoal side of grey.
Herringbone is usually a bit more heavy fabric and weave. Do you want a heavier fabric for a wedding suit? If so, fine. But if not, be sure to specify that you want to see lightweight options. We don't want you breaking a sweat on your big day
Congratulations on your wedding!
If they convince me that the suit will not be ready in time does anyone else have a recommendation for a wedding suit around the $2000 mark (feel free to PM in order to avoid moving off-topic)
Thanks!

Picked up two new suits in Lumb's Golden Bale, two new odd jackets in the old summer weight Carlo Barbera for Lesser, a few pairs of pants in Minnis fresco for the summer, and a necktie.
Other stuff still pending for the Sepember visit.
I ordered some new things as well.

The mind reels...
If sack suits have any appeal, I would go to the Andover Shop for Southwick MTM. I think they're terrific, although some don't. Not that there aren't other good bespoke-caliber tailors at the $2,000 price point, but I don't think any have been identified on online fora, other than some London, off-Row tailors. Another Boston-area MTM option is Drinkwater's. Have you tried on ready to wear suits?

You might look into SF-affiliate Winston Tailors (Chipp II) in New York.
Their House Style is in the same Ivy tradition as the Andover Shop,
but broader and more adventurous. For example, I have natural shoulder
side-vented, nipped waisted jackets from them that date from the 80s.
