Finally, to revisit an earlier tangent, I was wearing virtually the same outfit I posted earlier in this thread and after chatting up a flight attendant on the Delta Connection from RDU, got invited over to her place in Howard Beach for "hottubbing." I didn't go, so I can't say what the actual parameters were (maybe she was trying to drug me and steal a kidney?), but she was young, relatively hot, and said she liked my shoes.
I maintain that chicks dig well-dressed men in high-waisted pants (and the long ball)
How do you know she doesn't like the money? Flew first class?
For everyone in Scandinavia: Mina and Dino will be back in Stockholm Apr. 20th, at Best Western Time Hotel. Contact them directly for an appointment or PM me.
Love the Pink Oxford. What mill if you don't mind?
I don't recall for certain but probably from the Thomas Mason book.
I've ordered a few things that aren't typical. When I ordered the pink shirt Dino, said, "You like things that are different". I guess I do. As much as Foo is writing all over SF about blue chambray I think most guys look best in blue end-on-end and bright pink oxford or end-on-end. Chambray is good, but like denim, best for tweed jackets and corduroy. the blue or PINK EOE is right with a pin stripe suit, blazer or jeans.
I'm having a cigar linen suit made, and was thinking of choosing grey smoked MOP buttons for the jacket. Dino and Mina, however, think this might be a bad choice, and suggested medium brown horn. Anyone have thoughts? I could go either way, but for some reason, in my mind, MOP seems like the better choice.
I posted this for suggestions on good taste, but did not get much traction. It's not cigar linen, (maybe maduro linen?) but gives you some ideas what horn looks like. Not sure if it helps much.
Would also like to get your thoughts on my suit, what you think is the best choice.

I agree with them. MOP buttons are for sportcoats in my mind. You are getting a suit made, I would stick to the proper matchiness of buttons even if it is linen.
