Not really.

The below is an old photo my Mom in her completely handmade chemise - from fabric selection, to fabric shrinkage, to pattern making, to adjusting the pattern, to hand sewing every stitch, to hand washing the garment - she did it all. She didn't have a gazillion of these, just enough.

Although not quite the level of AM or NSM, looking at the shirts in this thread reminded me of my Mom's tradition.

The relationships between the maker and clients are private ones. I can respect that.

I suppose the overarching theme emerging here is how uncomfortable clothes are. Has anyone here beside edmorel experimented with business day nudity?

You don't say . . . While Ed's the man, and in the tradition of Butler's shirtless trousers, I have experimented with this one fine day, although only on a semi-nude level.

Not that I want to wake up puggy-poo-poo, I am reassured that my jacket adequately covers my gluteal folds . . .

I like cloths but I've never talked about thread counts, or horizontal stiches, super this or that.

Well, not the first time for me, but I concur with the general sentiment of your post.

mmkn: you are a seriously weird dude.

Ok, this is now officially fucked up. I'm going to bring it back and remind people that this is Mina's thread. People will reference this thread after Google searches about her business in addition to searching SF history on her style.

I encourage recent images to be deleted by both the posters and re-posters.
