my visit to Napoli & Mina @ Napoli Su Misura - Page 118

Nice, Kaplan. Interested to see the finished product. Gorge looks to be a little high, IMO. Loving the shoulders and the shape of your right sleeve. Fronts look a little more closed than most of the NSM I've seen; of course this is obviously just a fitting.

It is smile.gif - I never could get those who carry Caruso MTM here or in Sweden to work with fabric of my choice (like you did). Fabric is the 0520 Minnis Fresco which I've loved from the first time I saw it here some years ago. Styling is gonna be BlazerSuit'ish; 2 patch + barchetta.

Thanks. Gorge isn't finalized here. We talked about it and I mentioned I wasn't looking for an extremely high gorge, more like what I could see on Dino's coat which looked to be lower than most I've seen here from NSM. I also asked for the buttoning point to be lowered slightly from where it's marked in the photo - hope that was the right call. I'll expect the fronts to be more open on completion.

Overall, great experience so far!

^^ What bothered me is that quarters are not symmetrical, my fitting looked very similar. The front also looked almost couple of inches longer than the back, was yours the same way?
Mina cut my coats long and I was pleased with it, I would add to the length of your jacket.

Good for you! I hope it turns out just the way you like it.

Thanks, NOBD.

Forex, regarding the balance, the front was only slightly longer, if at all. As for the lenght of the coat, I don't have the longest legs and I might want to use the coat on it's own, so I'm pretty happy with the way it is, but thanks for the suggestion.

Brown corduroy always looks good, especially when accesorized with the classic red and blue color palette.
