I wouldn't say this is a bad thing...the redesigned Lao szechuan is much more appeteizing and Ba Le doesn't scare me.
Last time I was eating up by Argyle (at a place I have frequented before) I decided to just get a sandwich and appetizer instead of pho...the sandwich came in a plastic basket with a paper lining. When I finished the sandwich and crushed up the paper lining...the bottom of the basket was filled with dead bugs and loose dirt. Looked at my friend's basket and the same thing was true...rather disgusting. I am usually willing to forgive the fact that asian restaurants tend to look like crap since I can at least expect things like my plate and silverware/chopsticks to be clean.
