Has anyone else noticed how well turned out Dr. Robert Jarvik (the artificial heart inventor) is in the current Lipitor ads?

Very well cut blue suit - purple tie and pocket square - nice thick knot on the tie - correct amount of cuff showing from his shirt - nice break on the pants.

I have to say, I'm quite impressed with his look.

I was also going to start a thread on this!
But, was the pocket square matching? Even if it's the thought that counts.

Yes, the the purple is off putting to me,and he sinned against God by perfectly matching thereby furthering your eye to look at his tie/chest/pocket square, the combo was definitly designed for a commercial as it's very distracting, but the suit itself looked nice from what I remember. I remember the suit, but not much of the ad.

I do believe it is a matching tie - square combo, so that is one strike against him.

But the fit was great and what really impressed me was the amount of cuff showing under the jacket and the robust tie knot - two things I have trouble with

Overall, I was willing to forgive the slight lapse with the pocket square.

I just saw the ad. Is it the intent that, if one takes Lipitor, one can look as dapper as Dr. Jarvik?

Saw it and noticed he's better turned out than average.

My point deduction was for shirt collar band too big - noticeable gap to neck.

I think this is a common mistake among those who are not used to wearing a tie every day.

I think he looks almost TOO well dressed, in that he doesn't look natural or at ease in his clothing but instead he looks "dressed up."
